STAAR testing is right around the corner, and what better way to encourage your Bulldog than with a sweet surprise! Parents can purchase STAAR Candy Grams to send a thoughtful note and treat to their student before testing begins. You can choose to purchase a gram for one test or for each testing day. Let’s help relieve test anxiety and boost our students’ confidence with a little extra love and encouragement!

Come out on Wednesday evening, March 11th for our Heritage Appreciation Night. This event will showcase various cultures through dance, music, food and stories. The event is from 6 pm-7:30 pm in the Cafetorium. It will be an evening of sharing what makes everyone special and included on our campus and in our community.
March 9-13, we will celebrate Kindness Week. The theme is "Celebrating Our Heritage". This week will highlight treating others as we want to be treated, our cultural and family ties, encouragement, as well as our favorite eras, including music and dress. But the main goal will be coming together as a campus and community.
On Saturday, February 21st, 2026, Ulrich's "Team Bulldog Prodigy" won Second Place at The North Harris Regional Destination Imagination Tournament's Casting Shadows challenge. Sophia Rasmussen, Elizabeth Rasmussen, Everleigh Leizear, Annalise Helm and Brytan Turner's performance win secures them a space at the Lone Star Finals State Tournament in April. Way to go Team Bulldog Prodigy! We're so proud of all of your hard work and dedication!

Ulrich showed cardiovascular disease awareness with pride in red. This day was observed on February 6th.
Congratulations to three of our teachers who won a Klein Education Foundation grant! Brenda Ballard, Zacarey Evans, and Ellen Cabahug.
On Saturday, February 7th, the Bayou City Middle School Art Contest announced the 30 finalists for 2026. This year over 500 students from the Houst area entered their artwork. We are proud to announce that Ulrich has 3 finalists this year, Catlynn N. 8th, Tianah M. 8th, and Gabriela O. N. 7th.
The Middle School Art Competition is for students in grades 5-8 from Houston schools. The art contest offers middle school students the opportunity to participate in a 2-D juried competition, have their art displayed in public, interact with working artists, and win prizes for themselves and their school’s art program.
This year’s theme “Through My Eyes” invited students to share the world as they see it: their neighborhoods, their families, their challenges, their hopes, and the moments that shape their unique perspectives.
The Middle School Art Competition is for students in grades 5-8 from Houston schools. The art contest offers middle school students the opportunity to participate in a 2-D juried competition, have their art displayed in public, interact with working artists, and win prizes for themselves and their school’s art program.
