The Woodlands Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Academic Support Grant 2021
Amount: $1,000
Deadline: 3/22/21
The Woodlands Chapter will award academic support grants up to $1,000 each to African-American seniors who attend high school within our chapter boundaries to assist in furthering their educational endeavors.
Criteria:
African American senior
3.0 GPA and higher
Per NCAA, students with athletic scholarships are ineligible
Financial need as determined by FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR)

A typed essay
An acceptance letter from the college or university that you will be attendin
One letter of recommendation from a teacher or an employer

Copies of ACT and/or SAT score reports (if not reported on your high school transcript)
Award recipients are selected from eligible applicants based upon student achievement and financial need.

Vinson & Elkins Diversity Scholarship Class - 2021
Deadline Before 4/01/2021
The Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. Scholarship Foundation will award $10,000 scholarships with paid summer internship opportunities, if the Firm hosts an intern program, to achieving high school seniors who are members of a racial/ethnic group which has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession: Black/African American, Asian (including South Asian), Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and/or identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in the greater Austin, Dallas and Houston areas.

The Bobbye Marie Booker Coleman Scholarship
African-American high school seniors graduating in 2021 who reside in or attend a high school in one of the service areas of the North Harris County Alumnae Chapter that include: Cypress, Jersey Village, Spring, Tomball, and Humble.
