Klein Oak Beautification Project

"Operation Panther Pride"

Visitors to our campus may have noticed the newly added murals. These murals were made possible by the KO Beautification Project and funded by the generous donations from the C/O 2015 and KO PTO. The KO Beautification Club is a new club that through fundraising efforts desires to enhance our school grounds and instill pride in our environment which will result in:

  • Investing time and resources in our youth
  • Connecting with our community
  • Increasing student attendance
  • Increasing employee satisfaction and morale

We will collaborate with campus clubs and organizations to raise funds to add murals, landscaping, benches, decor and more to our campus. Our Boys Baseball, Basketball, FFA, Art Club and others, have already signed up to help beautify our campus!

We are seeking community and business partnerships that can further assist us with our goal. Donors that donate $500 or more will be recognized publicly on the field at one of our home football games. Their names/company will also appear in the program and marquee for the game. Donations of $100 or more will appear on the back of the KO Beautification t-shirts that will go on sale soon as a fundraiser for the project.

If you, your company/business, or your student are interested in partnering with the KO Beautification Project please contact Ms. Walters at

Klein Oak High School Klein Oak High School was established in 1982 as Klein Independent School District's third high school with an opening enrollment of 1,150 students in grades 9 and 10. It now houses over 4,100 students. Klein Oak serves the northern communities of the district. From its humble beginnings, many architectural changes have been made to accommodate its growth. Additions of a music building, athletic facilities, a ninth grade wing, and enlargement of the Commons have all changed the footprint of the school.

The passing of the 2015 Bond will provide for many improvements including a new carpet, enlarging the auditorium capacity by adding classroom space and a black box theatre, building a gymnasium and dance facility to name a few. While these improvements were much needed and will certainly enhance the campus, there is still a desire for aesthetic enhancement.
Goals As the only IB campus in Klein ISD, having international exposure, coupled with being located in a high profile area near the soon to be constructed Grand Parkway, it is important that our campus be appealing and attractive both academically and aesthetically to current students and future homebuyers seeking a quality education for their children.

Spectators of any Klein Oak football game or pep rally will quickly see that Klein Oak High School has an abundance of school spirit and pride. From Black Out games to tailgating parties with students and alumni, the KO community as a whole show their support of the mighty Panthers. The “O-zone's” school spirit and encouragement is what helps to propel many of our students to win numerous athletic and academic victories over their competitors at the local, regional and even state levels.

Regrettably, this same vibrant and powerful school spirit and vision for academic and athletic success is not visually evident to visitors and students that walk through the front doors and travel through the halls of Klein Oak High School.

It is the desire of the Klein Oak Beautification committee that Klein Oak's aesthetic appearance better reflect the spirit, energy and vision of the Mighty Panthers! More so, and most importantly, it is the expectation that the recommended enhancements in this proposal improve student attendance and behavior, overall campus satisfaction, connect with our community and enhance employee morale and attendance to produce a high quality educational experience and work environment for all.

The Klein Oak Beautification committee hopes to make this effort one that the entire Klein Oak and Klein ISD community can support and be proud of for years to come.
