A person who speaks two languages is worth two people
The Klein Oak Foreign Language Department believes that any student who can communicate in one language has the potential to communicate in other languages. Therefore, foreign language classes will provide students with level-appropriate instruction and opportunities to progress through sequenced practices leading to proficiency with an ultimate goal of accurate communicative competence. The basic objectives of the Klein Oak High School Foreign Language Department are: To help each student attain an acceptable degree of proficiency in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To develop a knowledge and appreciation of various aspects of the culture of the target language.
